i recently recommended the shining to jaimie, who said she loved it (yaay), which i then got all kinds of excited about (*ahem, i now have a new book buddy) Xp and now i want to recommend ALL kinds of other books to her too. actually, id recommend any one of these to anybody, but i dont have a lot of people in my life who love books the way i do =|

I loved Memoirs of a Geisha! Have you heard of "Snow Flower and the Secret Fan" by Lisa See? That's a good one too!
